Richardson Firm prevails in Retaliation case, winning civil penalties and $521,086 in attorneys’ fees

Following a jury trial in Travis County, the court rendered final judgment for landlord retaliation and declaratory relief in favor of the Firm’s client – awarding civil penalties of $5,500 for landlord retaliation and attorneys’ fees of $521,086.72. These amounts have been fully paid to the Firm’s client. The opposition's substantial damages claim was rejected.

The judgment also determined that the Richardson Firm's client is the "prevailing party” in the litigation.
