Chris Arnell is an experienced trial lawyer in commercial litigation. From medical malpractice to real estate and contract disputes, Chris manages a mixed docket of cases to gain as much courtroom experience as possible. Since 2021, Chris has been selected by Best Lawyers – "Ones to Watch" in three different areas: Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Medical Malpractice. Chris is also a "Board Eligible Member" of the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a national nonprofit organization committed to promoting trial advocacy skills through an ABA-accredited program of attorney Board Certification in any of eight specialty areas. Chris is a Member of the NBTA Emerging Attorney Committee and regularly attends and contributes to national NBTA Board Meetings.

Chris began his legal career representing hospitals and defending doctors in medical malpractice cases. He has practiced on both sides of the docket in employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuits. Chris recently handled litigation involving solar panel installations and also represented businesses and individuals in property tax appeals and tax exemption denials. While in law school, Chris worked for two state court judges in Dallas County.

Chris attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he competed in mock trial competitions and obtained his undergraduate degree. He graduated from Baylor Law School, where he continued to excel in mock trial and moot court competitions. Chris is "of counsel" to our firm and also practices with his separate law firm in Allen, Texas. His passion for trial work exemplifies his role with our firm.
