Chris Arnell is an experienced trial lawyer who handles a variety of cases. From medical malpractice to contract disputes, Chris manages a mixed docket of civil and criminal cases to gain as much courtroom experience as possible. Chris has been selected by Best Lawyers – "Ones to Watch" in Construction Litigation, a division of BL Rankings, for 2021, 2022, and 2023. Chris is also a "Board Eligible Member" of the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a national nonprofit organization committed to enriching trial advocacy skills through an ABA-accredited program of attorney Board Certification in any of eight specialty areas. Chris Arnell joined the Richardson Firm PLLC as "of counsel" in 2022 -- Chris also separately practices law with Arnell Law, PLLC with an office in Allen, Texas.

Chris began his career representing hospitals and defending doctors in medical malpractice cases. He has been on both sides of the docket prosecuting and defending employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuits. He has also represented businesses and individuals in property tax appeals involving value disputes and tax exemption denials. While he was a law student, Chris worked for two state court judges in Dallas County and gained valuable insight.

Chris attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he competed in mock trial and obtained his undergraduate degree. He went on to attend Baylor Law School, where he continued to excel and compete in mock trial and moot court. His passion for trial work was a hallmark throughout college and law school, and he carries that attitude with him into his professional career.
